I’m so excited to share some of my favorite images from our Southern Romance bridal shoot at the maryland wedding venue – Crown Rose Estate in Frederick, Maryland! The amazing gowns were from Love It at Stella’s Bridal and Formal in Westminster, MD, the florals were from Candlelight Floral Designs in Middletown, MD, makeup was by Aaren King of Made Makeup, hair by Jamie Fleming, and videography by Stevenson Productions. (All links to the vendors’ websites at the bottom of this post).
What does beauty mean to you? To me it means loving the person that you are first and the skin you’re in second. True beauty shines from the inside out. A bride on her wedding day wants to feel nothing short of beautiful. Part of my passion, and the passion of other wedding vendors, is to make our brides feel perfect, enhance their individual and unique beauty, and showcase their style and who they are. A great dress shop goes to extreme lengths to give their bride a gorgeous gown that fits her perfectly, and beyond that – a wonderful experience. A great makeup artist enhances the natural beauty of the bride without making her look fake. A great hair stylist works with the bride’s hair length and type to accentuate her face and provide her with her desired look. And a great photographer or videographer finds flattering light, the right angles, and postures to enhance her beauty. The bride and groom and photographer must have a trusting relationship to showcase their personality as well. I get to know my clients (or in this case -models) to know what will make them smile that genuine smile or give me a laugh at just the right moment. When all of this can come together with wedding vendors, a bride’s true beauty and personality will undoubtably shine through.
I hope that you can find some lovely inspiration for your own wedding and wedding day beauty from this post! And remember to connect with all of the vendors through the links provided at the bottom of the post. Enjoy!
The stunning Crown Rose Estate… it reminds me of a southern country mansion.
Aaren of Made Makeup and Jamie prepping the first two girls for the shoot.
Our lovely model Tiffany! She’s just as sweet as her smile is :)
Meet Brittnee, an “old soul” and very kind heart.
I love the sophisticated Southern look that Aaren and Jamie gave her.
I love this balcony porch at Crown Rose Estate! It’s a private porch for the bridal suite.
The back of this gown! Wow!
Meet Samantha, a quiet beauty who happens to be my little cousin. Well, not so little anymore. And the detail on this dress is just amazing!
I photographed these in the sunroom. We were forced in by rain for a while, but I’m so glad we were because I’m thrilled with these photos of Samantha!
This is Sarah. She’s one of my assistants and friends! I wanted to capture her delicate beauty and sweetness and I think we did just that.
Meet my beautiful friend Patina! She chose this gown on her own from Love It at Stella’s and I couldn’t be more thrilled with her choice! It not only fits her beautifully, but suits our theme and the venue perfectly.
