I am so excited to share these images with you all! To say that I am overjoyed that we had this opportunity would be an understatement. My sister in law, niece, and nephew hadn’t yet met our son until last week. This trip was so full of joy and beauty!
We had gorgeous clear skies for our flight to Juneau. To see Creation from the sky always amazes me! How small everything looks from up there, yet the immense beauty is breathtaking!

The image below is a shot of a few glaciers somewhere above the coast of Canada.
The images below are from our descent into Juneau.
As soon as we arrived our family took us to a local tourist attraction – Lady Baltimore the Bald Eagle. We took a tram up the mountain to this place then hiked the rest of the way up as you’ll see in the following pictures.
The cousins were finally able to meet in person!
This cross was originally placed here at the top of Mount Juneau by a Priest from Maryland.
Three of the four brothers together.
This is the stunning view from my in-law’s backyard! They overlook the city of Juneau over the tidal bay.
We took a hike out to see the Mendenhall Glacier.
Can you spot the rainbow?!
These are salmon making their final trek upstream.
Below is a view of the glacier from the side of the road on a little scenic drive that my sister in law took me on.
More views from my in-law’s back yard. That sailboat was so beautiful!
Below are photos from our campfire cookout night at a local campground.
There are Bald Eagles everywhere! The photo on the left is a young one so it’s head hasn’t completely turned white yet. Can you spot three in the photo on the right?
The cliff on the right of the photo below was my favorite <3
My brother and sister in-law’s hunting dogs are so pretty!
My sister in law took me on a tour of downtown Juneau one day that the guys went fishing.
Of course we had to do some family portraits while we were there! Thank goodness for tripods and self-timers!
I’ve missed these guys so much!
Stay tuned for part 2 soon!
