Sweet baby girl Rylee’s post is finally up and ready for all to see! She was awake and alert for most of her session. I’m finding that if newborn sessions take place later than one week after baby is born she/he tends to be awake and alert more than they are the first week of life outside the womb. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, it just takes a little more time and patience to ensure quality portraits of the wriggly babe.

Angie and Brooks wanted to wait to find out the gender of their first born at birth, but Angie, wanted to begin decorating the nursery with gender neutral decor. So she purchased the adorable sign below for Rylee’s nursery from my friends over at Smallwood Home. (This is not a paid plug for them. One of my best friends works there and I just LOVE their decor!) It’s quite obvious that Brooks and Angie are over the moon about their precious Rylee!
