Despite the wind, Kirsten and I had a blast driving around the battlefields of Gettysburg scouting for rustic and woodsy spots for head shots! Every opportunity I get to spend time with this girl I leave feeling so encouraged! We shot at a few places then stopped for lunch. The week prior had been so hectic for me that I stressed myself into getting a stomach ulcer. If you’ve ever had one you know just how painful they are! So it was so nice to just chill with her and get my mind off of my discomfort for a while.
Kirsten and I kept reminding each other during our shoot how important it is for us to do this regularly so we can get more experience in front of the camera. Having that experience fresh in our minds will help us immensely while photographing our clients! We were both pretty uncomfortable in front of the camera until we directed each other into a natural pose or captured that genuine moment in between planned shots. We did a lot of hair-holding in that dang wind! But that actually lent itself quite nicely to some beautiful and natural looking poses!
I’m excited to share these images of my gorgeous photog friend Kirsten! Enjoy!
Well, hello gorgeous!
