Kristi and Seth chose to have their rustic fall engagement photos done at a family friend’s gorgeous estate. I could spend hours upon hours there photographing and enjoying the beautiful rustic log home, reclaimed wood outbuildings, amish-built barn, seemingly endless vintage and antique pieces displayed around the property, and chatting with the sweet homeowners! Kristi, Seth, and I even had a chance to sit down with them and chat for a bit about their history, how they acquired the property, where the reclaimed wood came from, and our mutual relatives and acquaintances. The owners have to be the kindest, most genuine and humble people I’ve ever met. The Mrs. even sent me home with a recently published book on my husband’s family’s history! Kristi raved about how sweet they are and I’m so glad that I had the opportunity to meet them and experience their kindness for myself. Thank you Kristi and Seth for choosing such a fabulous location for your engagement session, and a very special thanks to the homeowners for allowing us to enjoy your property!
This is the Amish-built barn. Swoon!!!
Kristi broke out her wedding boots for the engagement session! I’m obsessed with them… and her ring!!
The property has quite a few really neat vintage mailboxes displayed! I just loved this one.
Outtake time! …
Sorry Seth, this was just too adorable not to share!
